[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

All you know is... something has to change soon.]

You want some java? [There's a mug floating down out of the cupboard for him before he even has a chance to answer.]

[ Probably. Either way he is hella not turning down coffee. Precisely because she's the one that asked. ] Oh! Y-Yes pl-- [ And then he watches the mug float down and just goes silent in awe for a moment He gleamed some of the magic stuff from the meeting and such but hadn't had a chance to actually see it in action yet. ]

[And since he's staring she just raises an eyebrow and the carafe lifts away from the machine, pours, returns to its spot and the mug settles on the counter in front of him.]

You take cream and sugar? [The sugar dispenser lifts from the counter expectantly.]

[shikosuki]

Um... yes. Please.

[goteachother]

[A spoon dutifully emerges from the silverware drawer, measuring out one cream and two sugars, stirring the coffee gently, tapping itself off and then floating over to the sink to clean itself.]

Go on, sweetie. [And the first gesture she makes is urging him to pick up the mug and taste it.]

[ He picks up the mug, still a little dazzled, and cautiously takes a sip.

Then breaks into a big grin. ]

It's perfect! Thank you!

[She beams at him in response. Choro is, if nothing else, one to take pleasure in the little things and that makes her so happy. So few people can do that anymore.]

Hmmm I take it you're not gonna be helping with the cooking, though, are ya?

Ah-- haha....

I... I can try but... I don't know if anyone would want to eat my cooking...

I learned a little from watching my mom and I can follow instructions, but I don't really think any of it is actually... that good.

[ They usually come out looking like edible messes ]
