[Other than the reappearance of the Overseer, there's no real change in the routine. PAL still makes the morning and night time announcements through the PIP on each Champion's arm, and still the Champion unitards are freshly laundered and re-hung each morning in their closets.

No other floors unlock, but Cece and Kip will still be appearing randomly to chit-chat.

All you know is... something has to change soon.]

H-Hello, Miss Mai.

[ Well. It's at least someone she's comfortable with. ]

[Mai looks down at her.] ...You couldn't swim. Right?

...N-No. But I'm... G-going to try and learn.

[ This clearly can't go wrong at all. ]

[Mai shrugs her towel off at the side of the pool and drops in to walk over to the end where Clarith is. Now that the towel's not covering Mai, Clarith will probably notice a scar on Mai's chest, almost like she was stabbed. She doesn't seem to mind, though, with her hair twisted up instead of in their usual style.]

I'll watch.

[ Clarith probably won't even notice given she's... Covered in some pretty awful ones. Pretty much only her face, neck, hands and part of her arms are free of scarring. There's some that are... Pretty obviously from torture of some kind. ]

[Mai holds up her arms underneath Clarith, so that if she falters, she can catch her.]
