Week 7

[Seven weeks. Seven weeks of friendship and death and bonds between total strangers forming, bending, breaking, and mending. As of Friday the experiment has officially ended as it crowned it's Ultimate Champion, albeit with quite a few more hangers on than the mysterious EP or the Benefactors anticipated. However all of their PIPs are still active and there have been no attempts on their lives from CECE over the weekend.

There are no announcements on Monday.

The surviving Champions (including Xander, the Ultimate Paladin) awaken on Monday they'll find have regained the remainder of their memories from the ones they've lost.

[ooc: welcome to the final week, everyone! There is no AC this week but please make sure you read and comment on the endgame announcement if you haven't already. At this point in the game everyone should be at their true canon point if they weren't already. Hold onto your butts, kids, it's gonna be a bumpy ride out.]

Besides I wanted to see this place like I just remembered it. It's the pride of seeing the fruits of one's efforts.

Wow, everyone is putting their homes in, aren't they? So this is where you lived?

Indeed, this is from my world. The big building over there is the school I used to attend.

My friends and I rebuilt it, now that the world is at peace.

[They survived the end of the world, that's praiseworthy]

Really? The world is better now for you?

It took a lot of work, but it's happening. Someday the end of society as we knew it will seem like it never happened.

That's actually really inspiring! Doesn't it mean that we'll all be fine too, even with the circumstances we came from?

If you're dedicated enough then you should be fine. That applies to everyone.

[At least he does think that by surviving this far and defying the trial last time everyone proved they do have a lot of determination. Whatever situation everyone comes from surely won't be impossible to fix]

For most of you everything will seem much easier to do now that you fought for your lives in one of these games.

I hope so. I remembered the ambassador we befriended being killed by his own side, with the blame on us. Looks like Jupiter has as many warmongers as Earth does.

...Jupiter? Wasn't that supposed to be a planet with no solid surface?

[Are you meeting aliens, Yurika? Weird aliens?]

That was why it was so believable to think they were aliens. They're actually humans, descended from a fringe group that was involved in a rebellion on the moon, who were exiled from United Earth territory and settled in colonies somewhere on Jupiter, where they found factories that had been built around the gas planet. But when they declared war on us, because their existence was classified, there was a major coverup and the UEAF told everyone that the Jovians were aliens.
