Week 7

Week 7

[Seven weeks. Seven weeks of friendship and death and bonds between total strangers forming, bending, breaking, and mending. As of Friday the experiment has officially ended as it crowned it's Ultimate Champion, albeit with quite a few more hangers on than the mysterious EP or the Benefactors anticipated. However all of their PIPs are still active and there have been no attempts on their lives from CECE over the weekend.

There are no announcements on Monday.

The surviving Champions (including Xander, the Ultimate Paladin) awaken on Monday they'll find have regained the remainder of their memories from the ones they've lost.

Welcome to the end, Champions.]

Monday Tuesday

[ooc: welcome to the final week, everyone! There is no AC this week but please make sure you read and comment on the endgame announcement if you haven't already. At this point in the game everyone should be at their true canon point if they weren't already. Hold onto your butts, kids, it's gonna be a bumpy ride out.]

[He flips through his PIP, finding something odd but keeping it for now. Instead:]

They also tended to not make any direct threats. More imply things and let me fill in the rest. I suspect that is how the lockdown happened...

They also suggested they knew about things that could happen.

That makes sense too, if they wanted to avoid any direct responsibility.

...I take it you mean a little more directly than the way anyone could, say, talk about how you MIGHT get struck by lightning out of a clear sky, or something.

Yes. Like... an alternate fate. They suggested that my sister's choices could have doomed both Nohr and Hoshido... and that there was a time and place where this was different.

And they had access to it

Could just be them trying to play mindgames, could be some form of prescience or sensitivity to alternate timelines... it can happen, sometimes, if there's a rift in space-time. Things leak through, ideas or visions of other worlds and times, that's how you get things like hauntings or psychics.

And they definitely have the tech to access parallel worlds, we're all proof of that.
