Week 5

[It's been five weeks (since you looked at me) and with the deaths of Shadow and Rukia, the group that was initially 20 strong has dwindled down to ten. Ten people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call there is no new floor announcement this week.

And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

I don't know about that. There is a girl I remember, she'd love this place...[She winces, thinking of that unwelcomed guest.]

[A frown.] If anyone did like this place, that'd make them an awful lot like Seth, wouldn't it?

Not quite... She called herself a detective. I'm not inclined to believe her, but everyone else did...

[Deepening frown.] That sounds awfully stupid of them.

Like I said, vultures. The moment my husband went missing and she singled me out, they joined in.

[She's just going to glare at nothing.]

[You do that. Jane's just going to continue to grimace.]

...I'm sorry. At least...you don't have to put up with them here.

No. Hopefully by the time I'm back, the police will have sorted it all out.

Ah...yes, surely it'll all be fine, then.

They better not have made anything strange up while I was here...

No. But with how they were the last time I remembered something, I worried they might have already lied to the police.

There was an...incident... They were content to blame me with no evidence. It's why I was in the state I was when I came here... I wouldn't be surprised if they used my absence as their evidence.
