Week 5

[It's been five weeks (since you looked at me) and with the deaths of Shadow and Rukia, the group that was initially 20 strong has dwindled down to ten. Ten people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call there is no new floor announcement this week.

And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

I haven't been there since last Friday... What are they like?

Just some sparkly fabric I tacked up. I wonder what else people want?

Maybe you should ask them. I don't plan on going there...I still don't believe that thing freezes.

Sure! Why not, though? Water freezes at zero in every world.

Maybe so. But it's normally not the same water you'd swim in. Even with natural ice you wait till the seasons change.

I tested out the rink and it worked fine! It just drops the temperature and you wait a while to make sure the ice has gotten thick enough.

I don't have to like it even if works. What if something goes wrong.

That's why we just need to be careful, that's all!

And what if the machine hasn't been fixed properly?

It looked fine to me.

I think the insides are more important with things like that. It just doesn't seem safe.

I guess, but... Well, you don't have to if you don't want to.
