Week 5

[It's been five weeks (since you looked at me) and with the deaths of Shadow and Rukia, the group that was initially 20 strong has dwindled down to ten. Ten people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call there is no new floor announcement this week.

And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

[Kurumi glances just once at her and then back at the window.]

Right now it is. [It doesn't take long for her to figure out what the problem is.] It's kind of like a projector. I decided I wanted this room to look like this.

Aren't most abandoned buildings? We kept this one nice, at least.

It does look clean for somewhere that's been abandoned... Where they planning on knocking it down?

No, the building was only a few years old. The apocalypse happened.

[Okay. Uh. Maybe she should make things up to Natsuhi.]

Yes. Back home there was a lovely rose garden. It'll have been destroyed by typhoon now though...

Um. I know it's not a rose garden but... I made the garden we had up on the roof. I can show it to you.

A roof garden? I haven't seen one before... Very well.

Yeah, I really hadn't either. I thought it was cool the school had one... [Leading her to the roof and... it's actually a very prosperous garden, not as big as the greenhouse and no trees but plenty of fresh veggies.] Rii-san kept most of it but we all helped.

[It's no rose garden but there's pride in those words. Natsuhi might not be the easiest person to be around...that didn't mean Kurumi didn't want to show her nice things.]
