Week 5

[It's been five weeks (since you looked at me) and with the deaths of Shadow and Rukia, the group that was initially 20 strong has dwindled down to ten. Ten people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call there is no new floor announcement this week.

And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

[After the mess that was yesterday. Natsuhi gets a plenstn suprise in her dumbwaiter. Not only has she gotten her much needed glasses, she's gotten her own clothing back. She's going to be wearing that instead of the things she's made.

Shortly after breakfast she starts placing items on one of the tables in the cafeteria. She's just going to leave them there. It's nothing of value, just a conch shell, a packet of pink face scrub, instant ramen and cheese spread.

She was going to give Ricky first choice. But she really didn't get anything that would be of interest to her.]

Oh! Are we having another trade?

If you can call it that. I wouldn't say any of these or worth trading for, but if you want them...

Sure, I've got loads of stuff! What kinds of things do you actually want?

I wouldn't mind having my ring back, it feels odd not wearing it... Or something for my headaches. Though I'm not sure if I should trust any medicine found here.

I've got plenty of medicine. Maybe they want me to become a pharmacist in here.

All the stuff I got was unopened, if you're worried about tampering.

I'm more worried about them putting incorrect labels on the bottles than that.

[Jane stares at the setup from the cafeteria door for a little bit before something clicks in her head. Oh, right - trading, and stuff. Well, she's gotten things she doesn't necessarily need, too. Maybe Natsuhi...might like some of it?

She goes back to her room only to return with a few of Natsuhi-like items: most notably, a gold broach with an emerald in the center, but there's also a tube of fancy lotion that smells like coconut lime, one of those bags of chocolates, and a heating pad. Might as well see if Serious Mom wants anything.]

Miss Natsuhi? I...see you've got some stuff, today.

[Natsuhi looks over...You're actually getting a smile from her.]

Yes, the things I'm willing to trade here aren't much. But I got some things from home, including my glasses. [She's never missed her glasses more than the first few weeks here.]

Ah, well, I don't really need to trade for anything, but...um, if there's anything here you might like...

Yes, I got it in the dumbwaiter. It's pretty, so I was going to keep it, but...thinking about it, it seems to be more your kind of thing. Besides, I really don't need it.

[Shush! Give her a moment to know it's really there. Okay she's going to pull her glasses from her pockets, look she has pockets now! And look it over properly.]

...Amazing, they really did take everything... You didn't get the matching earrings did you? Or my ring?

So it is yours? No, I'm sorry I didn't get anything else, but, please take it! I know Lightning has found a lot of my stuff and has given it back, so the least I can do is return the favor for someone else.
