Week 5

[It's been five weeks (~~since you looked at me~~) and with the deaths of Shadow and Rukia, the group that was initially 20 strong has dwindled down to ten. Ten people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call there is no new floor announcement this week.

And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

[Jane frowns. If there's something she can do to help, she'd do it, but right now she's not sure what to even suggest.]

I'm...personally banking on wiping myself out to sleep properly, so...

[That kind of innocent thinking is admirable in a place like this.]

I can always try that. I think I can out dance everyone.

Oh, really? [A smile and a raised eyebrow.] Well, we've got, what, all afternoon? I think you should go for it - outdance us!

It's dancing enough! Anything can be a dance, trust me.

[This is turning out like some strange father daughter dance spiel except with a mom instead.]

Aw, her dancing is just fine!

[It's flailing, Jane.]

[Seizures. It sometimes looks like those.]

No one dances like that back home.

[Only if you're doing them on the ground.]

They don't back in my home either, but that doesn't make it any less dancing.

[Seizures tend to start when someone is standing or sitting up.]

As long as she's happy and not hurting herself, it's alright.

What if she hurts someone else.

Then we definitely need to have her calm down, but...I think folks might keep their distance instinctively.
