Week 4

[Four weeks in and almost half the Champions' original numbers are gone. Eight people in the span of a month and, even with the Overseers seeming increase in empathy for the remaining Champions, there is no end in sight for the Champion Excellence Program.

And again at 7 am on Sunday the mechanical woman's voice chimes to awaken the remaining champions on Sunday morning. After the initial wake-up call the message tacked on:]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your third trial, you have unlocked the fourth floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.! To access the fourth floor please stand on the teleporter and select the floor you wish to be teleported to.

[And again the Champions are awakened they have regained one new memory from the ones they've lost. Starting again on Sunday, as well, Jamie and Bolton will be back to their usual office hours in their usual locations.]

[He likely would have just pretended no to see her if she had just backed out. But seeing her fall has him up in a rush to make sure she didn't crack her head.

Hope you wanted him looming over ya there, Lightning. As least he's crouching so there's no sudden mole's eyes view of the pride of Nohr or nothing]

Light-! Are you alright?

[She lets out a rather irritated noise, pushing herself into a sitting position and shaking her head.]

Been a while since I've fallen like that.

[At least feeling the back of her head reveals that there's no damage. Just an inevitable headache. She glares at the skates attached to her feet to keep from looking at Xander.]

When I find out who sabotaged me, I'll tie these things to their feet.

Why stop there. You may as well tie them to their hands.

[He shakes his cuffs grumpily]

[Well that certainly catches her attention.]

Someone really does not like you.

Or likes me too much. Bolton seemed to enjoy it a bit too much for my comfort.

[To tell him she had a hand in this or not...]

What will you do once you find out who did it?

What do you expect, me to demand retribution for the slights against me?

[He has a stern look... that breaks into a amused sigh]

I gave Jane the mask, I can't say much. I doubt whoever did it knew I was also getting these smallclothes too. Though if my arms weren't bound I could at least put something on over it.

[At least he's taking it in good strides. She clears he throat.]

It's a swimsuit, not small clothes. [Time to look away. May as well tell him since he was honest about sabotaging Jane.] I thought they were joking with that sabotage... Maybe I should have picked one of the girls.

[kingshaming]

[He coughs in surprise, his ears turning pink]

You...? Gods Light, this is Bolton we're talking about. You think he would joke about that?

No. I gave him too much credit not to do something like this. [Definitely feeling heat rising on her face. This is the worst.] I can try and get you a bedsheet or something.

[Because rollerskates. Getting up is going to take a bit of maneuvering.] Might be easier if you follow me.

[He moves his hands like he had intended to help but remembered, oh yeah, bondage]

Please don't fall again...

I fell because I can't go backwards in these damn things.

[She could still use you to get up, but no, she'll use the nearest chair to do so.] I'll try not to go too fast.

[Which will be difficult since there's not really any speed control on these things as she kicks off even just a little towards the door.]

[He scrambles after her- at least his legs aren't bound, but moving fast makes him a little nervous.

There's not much support going on is what I'm saying]

[That is why she's not looking back. Also this whole balancing act was not fun.]

[He's following YOU Light, don't ask him, he's trying to keep his dignity and also not stare at her legs while SHE'S trying to keep HERS.

[....... Xander's room it is. Which she manages to stop in front of with less trouble than going backwards.]

Ah, yes.

[He holds his PIP up to it, unlocking it.

His room is... well it's not spartan- it's clearly lived in. But it is very organized. There is a painting on the wall, the one he did of the Nohrian Woods, and a cup from the kitchen on his desk filled with pencils and pens from the art room. Oh, and giant fishdragon floaty is on his (crisply made) bed]

I will need your help pulling the sheets.

[Everything looks like it should be in a room Xander lives in except... Well, she is not going to judge. She has stuffed animals. It's cute. Whatever it is.]

Right.

[.... Okay, please don't get mad, but she's going to lift your arms and wedge the floatie in them as gently as possible. Hang onto your little buddy for a while, prince. The bed looks a mess in a matter of minutes as the bedsheet is removed and draped over a shoulder. Fish dragon thing goes on the bed again.]

Any particular way you want to wear this?

[He looks a little awkward with the fish there, but once it's gone he ponders]

I suppose... around the waist then over one shoulder would be easiest? Since I can't move my arms.

[Hey it looked... okay, awkward, but in a cute way.

She has to think that one over.] I can try. Can't be any different than how Fang ties it.

[So... she throws part over his shoulder awkwardly damn bar and is thankful that the way she's wrapping it can be done while standing. No need to dip lower and just feel like dying.]

That comfortable enough?]

[She is very close and he'd be blind and also dead to not notice. But he keeps his composure]

It should be fine.

[Fang would be proud of her. It looks decent enough.]

If we had something for a belt, it would stay in place better.
