The invitations arrived through space and time. Some arrived months ahead, some only weeks. But the victims of Airlocked all receive an invitation marked with the royal seal of New Earth.

The same section of the park has been set aside to provide privacy. There's with every kind of food imaginable, including a food truck that purports to serve Authentic Vegetarian Flavortown Cuisine. The man running it certainly looks like he wouldn't be out of place among the colorful population of Flavortown.

The statue is still there, standing tall and proud over the fountain. The forests have grown even more lush and the gardens even more verdant in the year since you last found yourselves hosted here.

Prince Daniel, now nearly five, is eager to do his princely duty and to greet every newcomer as they arrive. His mother, beautiful as always, follows behind to supervise her son and to make sure that her guests feel at home.

[Sitting nearby with a snoozing chocobo and a notebook, Ardyn frowned in mock thoughtfulness and tapped the pen in his hand against his head.]

Ten minutes? Good heavens, practically forever. How did I get by?

[ She cracks her eyes open, letting them adjust again to the dappled light coming down through the branches of the tree, and gives him a smile. ]

Something like that. I'd forgotten just how rowdy we can all get when we're all together. ... It's nice.

[ She just wants to drink it in a little bit. ]

Mm...it is, isn't it?

[He closed the notebook and slipped it into his vest, smiling faintly.]

We can get terribly loud when the mood strikes. Though I think that's a good quality.

Mm. It just means we're all having a good time.

[ And just a scant few years ago, it would've seemed absolutely out of this world (if you'll pardon the pun) that she'd be having quite so many of them without worrying for her life every second of the day. ]

It still seems a bit surreal when we're all meeting up like this again. That it happened to so many of us and somehow, we all came out of it alive.
