You've done your best with the star charts, but if anyone is coming to help you, there is no sign of it yet. SIS remains the only friendly face here, even as you've found that she holds her own secrets. Meanwhile, yet another new floor has opened up - the elevators are in perfect working order now, if any of you care to go and see it. That's four concourses now; one for each of your groups. There's an awful lot of dead, aren't there?]

Yeah, I...I don't know if he'd buy it. And I'd definitely not want to talk to him alone, so...I guess we're better off asking SIS? She literally is an AI, I would think no one would know an AI better than another AI.

That's true! I guess I was just thinking, like, we're humans but we don't have medical knowledge like, say, Nari-san. But SIS-chan might have something! Besides, she's a lot nicer.

And a lot less likely to stab somebody with lethal fluids.

No kidding. Even if he was just following orders. Don't get me wrong, I understand keeping him around because he's helping us now, but things could change at any time.

I just. I don't want him to go near Xander or anyone with any needles, or I...

I trust you. I trust your judgment. I know sometimes I look too forgiving, just because I want to get the best results and see where things take us, and Price-san's done awful things to the people we love. You're all important to me, and I won't let him hurt you. Okay? Xander-san's included in that.

[cyan_maid]

I know. And...I trust you on that.

[Yurika takes a deep breath and sighs.]

Do you know if you can tell if the AI's damaged?

...Oh cripes, no, not on my own. I mean, unless he was obviously broken...and I wouldn't know how to fix him either.

Hmm. Well, what was he like? Personality-wise.

[cyan_maid]

Well...he liked to get into mischief, but in an inquisitive way. He absolutely love to get involved in things and be part of the solution. There were certain things he would do that were a bit odd or strange, but overall he meant well and always wanted to do his very best to protect me. When push came to shove, he was a very good listener.

It sounds nice to have someone like that around. Adorable, too! I hope he's fine once you've got him working. I wish I could help, but I'm no good with that stuff.

Aw, that's okay. I was definitely the worst out of my friends with it all...which doesn't say much, since they were all good with robotics to a significant degree.

Oh, really? It must be pretty popular where you're from.

Not particularly. It happened to help with all of our stuff going on at home, really.

[ratherdoweddings]

I imagine it would. Your home was a little chaotic.

[cyan_maid]

...Yeah. That's, um, definitely a word for it. Chaotic.

I'm sorry about everything, Jane-chan. If anyone deserves peace, it's you.

...Shucks, I wouldn't go that far. I think we've all more than earned our share of peace.

Well, that's true. What with everything... It's not even over yet, too.

Yeah...God, it's been two months already, hasn't it?

[ratherdoweddings]

That's right. I don't know if we can take much more of this, but we'll have to keep working at their weaknesses.

It...it was shorter, last time. Only almost two months. And now, if it keeps going, it's going to be longer than that. It's...it's insane.

We know their weak points now. We just need to find a way to exploit them.
