[This weekend has brought about some unusual questions about your resident robotic Overseer, but unfortunately, you've also lost two more of your own to an accidental death.

You've done your best with the star charts, but if anyone is coming to help you, there is no sign of it yet. SIS remains the only friendly face here, even as you've found that she holds her own secrets. Meanwhile, yet another new floor has opened up - the elevators are in perfect working order now, if any of you care to go and see it. That's four concourses now; one for each of your groups. There's an awful lot of dead, aren't there?]

It was on the prison ship. It probably was designed for prison labor...

We... this is what we used to make our memorial. We had... we had a wall with plates on it.

I see. That would actually work out really well, even if it's a little hard. But why install something like this in a spaceport? They've definitely been doing some major renovations.

[induality]

I think... it's because these areas are designed like... like homages to the different seasons of this dumb show. Areas that were special to the sets... sections dedicated to each of the participants...

So even if they had a spaceport as a base, they renovated it just to call back to their previous seasons. That sounds like something that would only happen in a finale.

[induality]

I mean... it's a show. Maybe... it's for fans? O-or maybe it's just to mess with our heads. Who knows...

[ratherdoweddings]

But that's just it. It's what you'd see in a finale, or at least in an anniversary season. The raised stakes add to that, too. In our old game, we had on-and-off motives; in this one, they're always on and they get worse and worse. They're planning something big, and that means we have to be ready for it.

[induality]

...bringing the survivors back for the finale... sounds like something they'd do. And they're probably all the more prepared for anything we might try. It's going to take a lot to get the best of them...

You're right about that, but with that I remembered, we know how we escaped the last time. The way the Doctor broke us out of the simulation was almost the same both times; that was how they were prepared this time. We'll have to gather everything about how we escaped and assume that they know every detail and have a backup plan for if we do it again.

It has been a while since we got together and had a proper meeting. Maybe... it's time we did that. The fact that we remember all this... they has to know they can't keep this up much longer. They're probably going to try and make things worse...

Definitely, but what else could they threaten that's worse than last week?

...in Starfield, they threatened our homes... even threatened us with starvation. I don't know if I'd say they can do worse, but... there are different kinds of horrible things they could still do.

They're going to threaten something that no decent person would just shove aside. It's been that way for the past few weeks now.

[induality]

They won't... want to risk a situation where we all decide we're not playing anymore. Considering how long this has gone on... they know they have to keep putting pressure on us.

They're building to something big. A finale, given all these reminders of what's gone on.

[induality]

I think you're probably right... Having former players return... s-sounds just like some kind of finale gimmick...

[ratherdoweddings]

So either they want to finish strong or there is a second motive and they've got enough.

[induality]

Right. We don't know how long they planned on this thing going. Maybe they thought it would be over by now but maybe... they were prepared for it to go on like this until there were only one or two of us left...

I still have to wonder. This can't be all there is. There's no reason to go this far just for a show.
