[Friday has reared it's head again and, come 7 am, things are quiet. But haven't they been quiet the last two times as well? In the Champion Excellence Program, quiet means nothing. Unlike the sabotages last week, everyone who received a boon earlier in the week will find them exactly where they left them the night before. It seems the boons are thankfully more permanent than the sabotages.

Still, there's a general feeling of off-ness that permeates the air. Not so much on the first or third floors but definitely on the second floor.

[After Yurika finishes investigating, McBurn is going to be waiting at the teleporter. It will be obvious to her that he's not himself. He looks like hell and he's visibly upset and tired.

He also seems to be holding two letters. Once he sees her, he's going to walk over to her and hand her the letter addressed to her.]

He left something for you in his room. You may want to read it before the trial and it becomes evidence.

[His voice sounds very upset and it's probably the most emotion McBurn has had since arriving here, though he is trying to keep his reaction a bit more controlled to avoid embarrassing assumptions since she is the one with the dirty mind who thinks there is far more between him and the victim than there was.]

In fact, there's dried and blackened blood more or less all over the floor in here.]

[There's multiple stab wounds for sure, just as the P.I.P said. Judging from the blood in his mouth, one of those probably pierced Margulis' lungs.]

[He's going to hazard a guess and say that that was probably one of the wounds in Margulis' general chest area. Just taking a shot in the dark with his medical knowledge there.]

[And speaking of blood on his mouth, the Doctor is going to carefully try opening opening Margulis' mouth, to make sure there's nothing critical there, like last week.]

And no, there's nothing special in Margulis' mouth aside from his own blood. But perhaps the bloody knife still held in his hand is worth comment.]

Jane runs out of the music room when she gets the announcement, not torn up, but still very shocked. She - she literally just spoke to the man this week, and already Margulis is...

No. No, it's...going to be okay. It'll be okay. Jane takes a deep breath and looks for people wherever they're closest - aka the gym - and enters.

Besides that body and the women swearing over it, is there anything immediately out of place she might notice?]

How shredded are we talking here? Is it still hanging up in tatters, or is most of it on the floor? Is the stuffing spilling out? Does it have an eight pack?

Another thing - the way in which it was shredded - does it look like it was hacked up by a knife, or by someone ripping it apart like a maniac?]

[It looks like it caught multiple wide slashes from a knife. There's stuffing spilling out from the lacerations, but it's not utterly obliterated.]
