This is Kurumi. I gathered up some stuff from the diner and kitchen to the Cafeteria. Come if you want. Thought we should be together.

Well, that's the one bit of good news. We don't have much else to do besides hold out, really.

Some kinda nano-tech, if I had to make a guess. Or if he really was the disease itself, like you said, might've been the "real" him was a whole buncha microscopic organisms camping in the host body's systems.

The host dies, the invading cells all skedaddle through an open wound or something, and then solidify into a protective shell 'til they find someone else to infect. Like- I don't know, a mimic octopus or something. Only hidin' in one of those pretentious masquerade parties instead of the ocean floor.
