Holding yourself responsible for other people's actions just because you held a meeting will do you no good. Tensions are high among all of you and Church can be a volatile even under the best circumstances. He will calm soon enough.

Tensions should not have been so high to begin with. It was different, last time. We were united, even Sir Church.

[That's not much comfort, but it's not something she can deny, either.]

[There's a brief pause.]

It hurts to go on once your heart has been torn from your chest and ground into the dirt. I know your pain.

But remember Yuuri Wakasa- Rii-san, your sister in all but blood, would want you to rally and live.

[The reference to Yuuri as her sister seems so natural, it doesn't occur to her that, as far as she remembers, she's never called her that.]

I intend to live. I wish to follow the path forward; it is only that I am having difficulty finding it.

[And, belatedly, she remembers what she'd resolved to say days ago, before she thought of trying to contact her this way. It feels shameful that this could have slipped her mind, but... she did get sidetracked.]

There is no harm done. Dealing with my sadder memories is a daily occurrence as it is.

...I have not said this before but I am sorry for your loss. I wish I had been able to prevent it.

I do indeed. We are much smaller than the group I once had but I no less trust them with my life.

That is good. Everyone should have people like that, especially if venturing into dangerous circumstances.
