My definition of a Southern dish is mud mixed with... shit, mud. Thinking this is probably better than that.

Oh golly, it's nothing like that - though I'm supposing the south you're used to might have a similar climate to the one I know of.

[There's sausage and shrimp, onions, bell peppers, celery, and then there's rice still cooking on the side. And there's a fair amount of herbs in there!]

I had wanted to make something more simple, but then I sort of realized...tomato soup is a little too, erm, close to certain colors that might put some folks off of food at the moment.
