[Your girlfriend is crumpled on the floor, holding a doll and in tears. That's what's going on!!

At this moment, Pyrrha isn't going to object to much of anything. Someone could come by and shank her and she might notice it. Getting pulled into someone's arms is fine, hearing Nari's voice is better.

Seeing the face speaking to her is... She would have been more surprised, had she any energy to spare for it.]


Who... w-who are you? Nari...?

Wha-? Of course..... Oh! I haven't changed back yet, have I...

[She reaches up and there's a click from the device that Pyrrha should recognize. Then the person holding the other redhead should be a lot more squishy like the should be.]

Sorry. I panicked when I saw you... What happened?

Nari! You....

[Ahh, she gets it. Considering she had taken apart, and put her own broken gadget back together again, she understands by now what a holoy-projector should do.

She's quietly glad Nari is herself again. Illusions aren't great.]

...I... [What can she say? Though, she does hold out the doll for Nari to see.]

[Has Pyrrha changed into Cece just yet?

Nari blinks and takes the doll, turning it over.]

Is this what made you break down? Is this someone you know?

[Not yet. She hasn't quite figured out how to repair the gadget. It's something she's been working with, off and on.]

...Yes. [Seems a bit silly, doesn't it? Breaking down over a doll? Maybe it was just the straw that broke the camel's back.]

It- she was someone from Remnant. I didn't know her very much at all, but something... truly awful happened to her.

[Maybe ask Ardyn? He's good at that. Sorry your gf is better with computers than hardware...]

I see... I can't say I wouldn't do the same if I was in your shoes. This is an awful way to remind someone... Want me to get rid of it?

[She probably will. Space Dad should know a thing or two.]

Would you? [It would probably be easy for Nari to just destroy it like the other things in Hello Rancor... But the sick feeling in her gut tells her that's not something she would stomach.]

...No. I'll keep it. I... I want to make sure nothing happens to it.

[That's what happens when you're an ancient being and all.]

... well, if you ever change your mind, I'm not going anywhere. [Hope Pyrrha doesn't mind affection because Nari is going to nuzzle her hair.] I'm not gonna ask what happened, but you know I'll listen. Have you gotten other stuffed friends out of this thing?

[It's fine. We're fine. She's fine. Penny is. She's here, she's in Pyrrha's hands. In some small, probably wrong way, it's comforting.

The nuzzling is also fine, Pyrrha sort of gets into it herself. Another feeling and action she doesn't remember.]

No, just this. I-I can't even imagine why it would be in there, or why anyone would even think to make such a thing... except if they wanted to taunt me.

[Nari is like a cat, soaking up the affection. If she could purr, she would.]

Taunting does seem to be something the like doing... They had the pendant my mother gave me in there... [Which she pulls out of her pocket. It's a diamond heart.] It's weird. I haven't worn it in years but it still showed up. I was wearing it in those memories we got like it was a lifeline.

You remember having a pendant you didn't wake up with? [She eyes it, slightly mystified by the beautiful diamond.] I guess you might be right. I found the outfit I was wearing in the machine, and another set of clothes that Fukawa found here, and in my memories.

But... I still don't remember ever having a doll like this, o-or wanting one.

I've had the pendant since I was a teen, but after moving to college I stopped wearing it. I always had it on me, in my pocket, in case I ever saw my mom again... But that's not important. [She sees how you're looking at it!] My boots were in the machine, which made me very happy, and my survival guide.

[Look, it's time to distract Pyrrha from the doll. Mostly by carefully placing the pendant around the Huntresses neck.]

Oh... [This wasn't what she was expecting, but okay! She tries to look down at the necklace, but it can be confirmed that it does look quite nice on her./small>]

..Aha, thank you. [Heck, it actually gets a smile.] I've gotten a few other things myself. I got my academy uniform, and even the dress I wore to prom. That was... a really fun memory.

[which I haven't talked about much, but she did.]

[Cece got Nari's koi kigurumi in R2, so Pyrrha gets pendant in this round. Seems giving something important is a thing she does.] You don't need to thank me. It's meant to be worn, so why not by you?

[.....] You got a prom dress from the machine.

Well... I guess? Gosh, I'm not sure what to say. Except, thank you, of course.

Well, it's mine. Or at the least, it looks exactly like the dress I wore.

[That's interesting.]

I never went to my prom. Was yours fun? And can I see the dress sometime?

[She reaches up to lightly touch the necklace.]

It was wonderful. I got to dance with my entire team, and spent so much time with my friends.

[It was the happiest moment of her life.]

Well, I don't see why not? Maybe there will be an occasion that I can wear it to.

[Pyrrha, you sound so happy! You get another nuzzle for that.]

That sounds amazing...

I can get a matching dress. We could dance! I know a few moves having gone to enough fancy parties.

[Nuzzling is awesome. There should be more of it.]

W-well I would love to! I suppose I could always try and pick up a few more moves.

[She's actually a little pumped at the idea.]

[There can be as much as Pyrrha wants.]

You teach me to fight in a different style, I'll teach you how to sweep someone off their feet with dancing. Deal?

[Mmmmh, just. Pushing out those thoughts of Jaune. They mess her up.]

It sounds like a very fair deal. Alright, I accept.

[Because girlfriends have a life outside of just being around each other all the time like healthy adults.]
