[Nari's been walking around like this for a bit now and when she sees Noctis in the candy shop, automatically she just feels disappointed. What is it with these two royals and not eating properly? So she crosses her arms, glances at the skittles, then at Noctis with a raised eyebrow. A "are you serious???" expression is on her currently handsome face and might look rather imposing.

Plus, tapping a shoe on the floor adds to the effect of a disappointed parent.]

[ Oh my god. How the hell did they--? Is it really possible that Ignis should be here? Unless he's just hallucinating, because this is Ignis at twenty-two years old, his eyes green and not scarred and milky white. If it's a hallucination, it's shockingly accurate.

Noctis feels a burning at his eyes, a tightness in his chest and throat. He wondered what he'd do when he saw Ignis or Prompto or Gladio again. He's run through it a million times in his head while he's been here. Maybe there'd be some joking, maybe there'd be a heartfelt reunion.

But now that Ignis is staring at him, he finds he can't say a single word. He just stands there, eyes wide, not sure what to do. ]

[It's not going to be much of a heartfelt reunion. Nari is ready to say something when the roomba with her starts approaching Noctis.... menacingly? With a soft growl, "Ignis" kneels down and smacks Stabbycat gently like a reprimanding parent.]

No! Noctis is a friend. No stabbing.

[The roomba chirps sadly and wheels around to obediently stay by Nari's heel.





Sorry to burst your bubble, Noctis.]

[ And just like that--

It's Nari. That's Nari's voice coming out of Ignis's mouth. For a fleeting moment he thinks this is just a way to mess with him, like on the train--

Noctis takes a deep breath and pushes a hand against his face. This, combined with the motive, it's... ]

... How did you make yourself look like one of my best friends, Nari?

[Best friends?] Is that who this is? I just thought for a moment I won the lottery with this setting.

[She reaches up and grabs a device around her neck, and with a click and shimmer, it's Nari-Nari once more.]

[ He focuses on breathing, and he rubs his hand across his face for a moment. ]

Yeah. That's Ignis.

[.......... don't say your friends name is perfect because he's pretty hot. Do not call Noctis' friend hot TO HIS FACE]

Well, you have a very-[Incredibly hot]-handsome friend. And tall, too... but you don't seem too happy to see him.

It's not that I was unhappy to see him, I--

[ Noctis takes another deep breath and looks at Nari. ]

I haven't seen him like that in a long time. Last I saw him, he was about ten years older and blind.

[ He misses Ignis so much. He misses Prompto and Gladio so, so much that it hurts. ]

Yeah, Ignis Scientia. Or Iggy or Specs. So if he was on that thing, I wonder if that belongs to me.

A moment later she lets out a "whoop!"]

This is for reaction more than anything as "Nyx" smirks at the king.]

Noctis lightly pushes "his" shoulder. ]

Gonna take more than that to mess with me.

[ But he sure is a little red! Wow!! ]

[DON'T THINK SHE DOESN'T NOTICE THAT BLUSH!!! She huffs softly, and with "Nyx" being taller, puts one hand on Noctis' waist and catches the king's hand with the other.

Can you ballroom dance, your Highness? She's humming as she takes Noctis around in an impromptu waltz.]

[ Oh my god. What the fuck is happening. ]

.... You're having fun, aren't you.
