[This game has officially gone from relatively normal to completely unfair. More than it already was, because now Xander and the masterminds are refusing to honor the motives -- going against the whole 'we won't do X thing if you kill someone'.

Togami doesn't even let Komaru say a word before he looks around, expecting to see Naegi pop out of the bathrooms or something]

[Fukawa freezes-- for approximately five seconds before she blurts out the first thing she can think of.]

[...not the best choice of words. But the idea is he can-- and he thinks she's Komaru. Not particularly doing Komaru any favors on his limited impression on her already but she's still trying to deal with the fact that this thing exists.]

[He called her plain. Instead of being insulted for her friend, part of her is relieved. She had to worry about the way Togami saved her in great detail-- it's good to know he didn't think much of her.

If you intended to explain something with any of that, you did a terrible job at it. [C- for effort. Still...a machine] What kind of machine was it?

If even you can't tell the difference, this thing really is dangerous.

...I got a machine out of the coin exchange thing in Flavortown. When I tried to get it to work, it produced a weird light and made me look like this.

[He saw Komaru in pictures several times and in person for like a minute, he could be fooled, Fukawa!]

A disguise of sorts...that's going to make trials more difficult. If this truly gives disguises that work like that, there's a chance they'll be used with nefarious intentions. [Thanks a lot, gacha machine, you're making their lives more difficult. Still...] Try to modify the settings, if you can. Maybe it's specifically made to recreate Komaru.

Wh-why would it be designed to recreate her?

[Was it designed to fuck with them because of that stupid motive? That's probably the best idea she can come up with right now. But this could be useful-- if she could provide information on how these things worked. So. Time to play around with it.]

...no, it looks like there are a lot of settings. It might take a while to figure out, but you could probably imitate anyone...

I'll leave that to you. Machines like these can be useful if somehow we do manage to escape from this mall before destroying the game.

[She gasps, perhaps a bit loudly, but it's either that or stunned silence as her eyes fall on a face she's never seen before. If she had anything, she would have dropped it right there.]
