Seems like it was really just the same for us as it is with everyone else. [They had death, yes, but not an actual trial.]

It wasn't just the deaths from that last week... Now people we knew were getting killed left and right.

[Just so quickly... she wraps an arm around herself, frowning at the thought of Shirou Emiya rushing to this death while she was distracted.]

There was nothing we could do... Back then... back then I knew better than to think--

[And she hates having to think that the her back then was right. That her... the one that could barely talk to people, and hardly trusted anyone-- why did that one have to be right?]

Touko... [The more she says that name, the more she knows she's said it a hundred times before. This is someone she's comfortable with, more then she knows. And seeing her like this...]

It... It will stop, Fukawa. It has to. If we have to fight a pirate, or... or whatever we need to do. This simply can't keep going forever.

[To show she means it, Pyrrha put a hand on Fukawa's shoulder, squeezing gently.]

But when? How... many people have to die first before it stops this time? In Hope's Peak and in Starfield... so many died...

[As much as Pyrrha would feel better if she just curled up and accepted her fate... the will to keep going is a mysterious and absurdly strong one.

But the question Fukawa raises is a tough one.]
