Week 4

[After everything that this case was, you probably don't want to deal with anything else. But you wake up on Sunday, just like before, with some new memories, and some new stores to check out.

Let's see what this week brings.]

Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday

(( Don't forget to check in, and check your memory regains! You can also stop by the gacha machine and Xander's office hours. ))

...these devices are more complex than I'd imagined.

[Why would things SHRINK?]

And the non-chlorine? [This time she pronounces the "ch" like "chandelier."]

Chlorine. It's an ingredient in some bleaches, but non-chlorine bleach has different active ingredients. Oh, to put it more simply, non-chlorine bleach is weaker, so it'll still clean but it won't ruin the colours.

This is complex, then. It almost seems like cooking, but with changing ingredients.
ratherdoweddings: (beat anything)

As far as I'm concerned, it's a lot easier than cooking. You just need to know what everything means.

[Arianna politely does not speculate on how Yurika's cooking skills relate to this comparison.]

But for some, that may actually be quite difficult.
ratherdoweddings: (and i've learned these lessons well)

Don't worry. Now we can just load some clothes from one pile in here. Be careful not to wrap it all around the centre, it needs to be able to move when we turn the machine on.

[Arianna picks the pink pile and starts loading things in, being careful not to put them all in the center. Well, at first she's trying to keep them all away from the center, but that quickly becomes impossible.]

It moves, as well?
ratherdoweddings: (if you're part of a team)

[personal profile] ratherdoweddings 2018-02-28 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
Just enough to agitate the clothes so they move and can get clean. There, that should be enough for one load. Then you use these dials to select the load size and type!

[personal profile] daughterofthemark 2018-02-28 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Arianna sets the load size to Medium, on the grounds that she thinks of herself as a medium-sized person. (It's probably the right setting, by coincidence.) She hesitates over the other dial, though.]

What does "permanent press" mean?
ratherdoweddings: (a change of cast)

[personal profile] ratherdoweddings 2018-02-28 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, we'll need to use that too for these. [presses that option] It gets the wrinkles out! Now, do you see all those laundry soaps?
daughterofthemark: (19F. The painted phantasms)

[personal profile] daughterofthemark 2018-03-05 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Is that what those are? They don't resemble any soap I've seen.
ratherdoweddings: (if you're determined enough)

[personal profile] ratherdoweddings 2018-03-05 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Right! See, there are different measurements and guidelines... Let's take this one. It's the powder kind. You pour it into the measuring cup like this. Don't worry if the measurement's a little off.
