No, that's far too petty and not nearly fun enough. Just the item? That's nowhere near funny enough.

Getting rid of stuff doesn't have to be 'funny'. I had to get rid of a tacky suit I received for some reason, and I certainly wasn't 'funny' in how I did it.

Well, no you can be boring - like, for example, just shoving something in a corner that is definitely not in any corner.

I took the time to give it to someone else.

I somehow don't think many people are going to be fond of excessive lubricant or things shaped like genitals.

Arianna showed quite the interest in such type of items, last time I talked with her.

...That is kind of a lie, you know. She's the person whom I totally did not help hide that not-conspicuous bottle of lubricant with.

She even seemed to be rather attached to the idea of people engaging in such activities right there in the Flavortown restaurant.

Suuuuure, right. Like anyone's even having enough sex to justify that sort of thing being around.

That's exactly what I told her. I don't think she understood my point back then.

I think she understood me pretty clearly when I...ended up telling her what that even was for.

I admit that fills me with some relief. The last thing we need right now is a sex-addicted maniac. It's already bad enough that Syo isn't shy about this kind of stuff.

[I won't lie, I never thought I'd ever write the words 'sex-addicted maniac' in any relation to Arianna.

Leaving aside the machine's propensity to giving unnecessary lubricants... [He tries to take a look at the rest of the bounty] ...did you obtain anything that could be of use?

...Hm. Well...I got asprin, at least - which has an immediately obvious use. The rest...I suppose some of it could come in handy some way. I've already got an idea for those Gushers, though.

Gushers...? Sounds unpleasant.

They are. They really are the most gross thing you could ever put in your mouth and I have always hated them. [She smiles.] Which makes them perfect for a bit of mischief.

[Jane's first thought when she obtains something that's really gross is to use them for mischief. Togami seriously doesn't understand how your mind works, Jane]

You're certainly one of the strangest people I have ever met -- not that there's much competition.

You haven't changed at all from our past game, from what I remember. It's...odd.

Yes. We didn't have all of our memories back then, yet we have them now. Despite that, you're every bit as whimsical and confusing as back then.

You're either extremely resilient, or a buffoon of astounding proportions -- and it seems I determined quite early in the last game you're not a buffoon.

How is it possible you have been holding yourself together so well, I wonder?

[Maybe Togami would be more likable if he didn't give his backhanded compliments with such a dismissive tone. Everyone who survived Hope's Peak and most people who survived that other space game changed in some way, Togami included, yet he seems to not have noticed noticeable changes in Jane's demeanor.

[She looks at him quietly, almost...surprised, that "whimsical and confusing" is the air he finds she exudes. She considers it for a moment.]

...Maybe...there's things that changed me that are in our memories that we still can't reach. I bet you one of these days, there will be a Sunday I don't want to come out of my kiosk, but I'm...trying to think of the things that don't hurt as badly as whatever that could be.

Does that mean when that happens you're actually going to make your blanket piles inside your kiosk?

For once in my life I'll admit I was wrong about something. You are learning.
