Uh...yeah? [Good thing it only smells faintly of blood, or he'd comment on it! He'd rather comment on the delicious food smell. He hands it over.] Is it yours?

[She takes it, feels the material in her hands...the slight smell doesn't register, her nose so full of spices instead.]

...I don't know. But...something sort of just...seeing it, my head started nagging me.

[With little fanfare, she tugs it on. It's baggy on her, but the worn areas in the elbows seem to match up right with her own.]

It...feels right, though.

Then it's yours. Looks like a perfect fit. [It doesn't, and he somehow refrains from making a joke about growing into it. But he definitely ruffles her hair, so, that's a thing.] Looks like you've had it a while, too.

I guess I have.

[She lets him ruffle her hair, and she adjusts the cardigan a little.]

It's so innocuous, I doubt I'm going to end up suddenly having an epiphany about it. But...so long as it feels right, then I can't really question it.

I find it's better not to examine these things too in-depth, because that way lies madness. At least until you actually remember-remember it. Then...maybe slightly less madness?

...No, that's not really going to help in my case. Or anyone's case. What's that saying..."we're all mad here"? It feels kind of like that the more things happen.

[Child why are you so nonchalant about that]

I'm suuuuper trying to ignore all this memory stuff, but I guess I can't forever. I haven't gotten any more of my stuff back. Unless it's stuff I'll recognize later.

[She shrugs.] Whatever makes you feel better, you go for it.

[Man..........it's going to really suck the further they dive into this rabbit hole, isn't it? Jane breathes out softly and looks over the rest of Church's loot.]

I mean I'm gonna have to think about it a little, write some notes, but I don't see much else use in this forgotten memory slash alternate timeline...stuff.

[There might be use in it yet, but Jane's getting the impression it's something Church wants nothing to do with, so she doesn't say that.]

Well, we're at least covered pretty well for whenever you want to start writing notes.
