[Well, your first case sure was something, wasn't it? Yuuri Wakasa and Thomasin have both suffered brutal deaths, and while your Overseer didn't seem particularly pleased with the way Thomasin went out, you're all still being held here.

On Sunday morning, you'll find that the metal sheet between the Starbucks and RoombaVille has disappeared. More importantly, though, you'll find yourself waking with things you'd forgotten still ringing in your head.

There's one new hallway to explore, and two more still unaccounted for. Maybe you'll find something to cheer you up? Probably not. It's worth a go?]

[The last day or so has been absolutely fantastic. If you're the type to enjoy constant bickering and frayed nerves, and a complete inability to actually change your clothes.]

[Also, using the smaller tools available has been rendered difficult to use due to the Doctor's other little curse; as evidenced by a few of them that appear to be physically stuck to him in a few places.]

[Togami grabs the remains of Togaminime. Yeah, Doctor, this grown adult is threatening you with half of a robot baby]

I'd have to be insane to trust you with a large and sharp object anywhere near me!

I really doubt back then you used a rotary saw to get out of handcuffs!

[Oh god. Again with the ridiculous namecalling, why people here love to do that. Togami lets go of the baby and slams his wrist on the table, intentionally trying to pull the Doctor forward a bit]

What did I do to deserve this...fine! Just do it already!

[Togami grits his teeth and stays still]

If that even grazes my skin I'm going to flay you alive with that very same saw.

[Do it, Doctor, cut those handcuffs once and for all!]

Oh don't be ridiculous, this blade would be terrible for flaying-

[Doctor.]

[But he lowers the saw to the stretched chain of the cuffs; it sends sparks screeching off the metal, but after a few moments-]

[Does absolutely nothing. The chain is completely unharmed.]

...What the hell are these MADE of?!

[Well that sure didn't work. Togami raises his wrist, giving the Doctor a deadpan look that simply screams:

'Great job, Mr. 'I Have Escaped from Handcuffs Before'

Very impressive job.]

[The Doctor gives the cuffs another tug, glaring at them for failing to properly break, not quite meeting Togami's eyes.]

...OKAY so we're not gonna get them off that way. Next step's figuring out what they're made off, we can use that to find the right kind of acidic mixture to melt through the chains.

[Acid. They have gone from saws to acid. Togami would cross his arms if he could]

If the acid doesn't work and your next suggestion is to strap a bomb to the chain I'm knocking you out.

[Are you intentionally naming stuff that's dangerous when close to you? He's growing increasingly sure of it, haha]

Clearly some kind of metal. There has to be something similar in this mall, that should help to find out what exactly it is. If it's terrestrial, of course.

Oh don't be ridiculous, we couldn't get a yield that was nearly contained enough for this with the materials on hand. Well. Unless we get desperate enough to lose a hand, though I can't say that'd be my first choice.

[Doctor.]

And this is almost certainly non-terrestrial in origin, or that saw's even more rubbish than your social skills.

You weren't nearly as concerned about losing a hand when you were handling that saw, you know.

[If Togami didn't believe this guy was the Doctor, he's believing it now. It feels like he's shackled to the guy he remembers. Not fun at all!]

That was uncalled for. Why don't you use that sharp tongue to cut the chain instead of lashing it at me?

I think at this point it's a BIT called for. Why don't you use that razor wit to cut through them, then, instead of standing there- blogging.

I thought you were the expert in getting out of handcuffs! This is what I get for yielding to your hypothetical expertise!

[Another reason for Togami to always be in charge: you don't waste your time like this]

Okay, listen, this is what we'll do. [He takes a good look at the handcuff around his wrist] I can't say I know how effective it'll be, but I had the bad luck of receiving lubricants from that ridiculous gacha machine. That should be worth a try.
