So if 22 people were out in space and majority of them indirectly killed 1 with rocks is that
[ SO THAT... SURE HAPPENED. And not only was it an emotional rollercoaster, it got downright terrifying at the end. Right now Choromatsu honestly wants to go curl up in a ball in his room forever and for a little while he does, just trying to process what he had just seen. But something keeps him from well... not doing that for the rest of the day. Maybe it's the empty stomach, maybe it's still wanting to prove he's not useless, maybe it's Fukawa praising him for putting together a meeting last time... or maybe he just very badly doesn't want to be alone right now after all. Either way, after a while of laying around he grabs the frog stationery he's been using and start writing some notes. ]
Hey
I know that was really terrible. But I think now is when we should really stick together. Show that bastard he and his bosses can't shake us. Even if you don't agree, you don't have to be alone if you don't want to right now.
I'm going to try and make some food. Feel free to join in the food court.

[ Choromatsu himself is currently hanging out in the various kitchens, trying to make something. There's already cookies set out, but they're just plain chocolate this time. No creamy centers or icing art, he didn't have time with this batch. There's also going to eventually be some rice dishes, mainly simple fried rice and some attempts at omurice, but those are going to take a while. Because he's not that much of a cook and when he does cook it's not for this many people, plus it's with an entire kitchen he knows, ingredients included. He certainly won't turn down help or be insulted if anyone just makes their own food instead though. ]

Is... it about what happened to Thomasin?

...It's everything. I. I couldn't help, and now you're all going to ask me why, and...
[She couldn't bring Yuuri back. Xander even said aloud, she couldn't have her own powers back. And yet that title...]
I-I'm so sorry...

Jane, I would like you to explain what you mean by that... but I wont ask you to if it will cause that much pain.
[A gentle squeeze of her hand.]
I just want you to know that I wont be angry with you, no matter what you say.

That's... extraordinary, Jane. [She be filled with more awe if not for the crushing realization that's hitting her.]
But it didn't... because no one's powers are working correctly. [Mmm.] I'm so sorry, Jane.

You tried though, Jane. It's not your fault it didn't work.

[The hell is a Semblance...?]
It's not anything like that. I...was playing a game with my friends, and...it was my aspect. Life, I mean. We all had an Aspect and a Class, so...I was the Maid of Life.

[The hell is a Aspect and a Class...?]
I'm really sorry... I don't understand what any of that is probably supposed to mean, but that does make me wonder how they could know about it.

Alright. So, this 'game' gave you and your friends powers. [Hrm.] There's something a bit like tat in my world, several people that have powers based on the elements.

[You have not reached a high enough level to get the Full Homestuck Experience.]
no subject
I... [ahem] Sounds like you were put through quite a bit. [Her brow creases.] With a power like that, changing how this 'game' works would have been simple.
[They wouldn't have had to end the day with two people dead.]

[She heaves a breath, looks at her hands. Useless. So useless.]
...I'm sorry.

Maybe that's why she reaches out, putting a hand on one of Jane's. She just wants to be comforting.]
I told you, Jane. You don't have to apologize. The fact that you can't use your powers isn't your fault... But I promise we'll find a way to bring it back, then we'll make things right.
no subject
...I hope so. This - this can't go on. It shouldn't go on.

...I personally have never been in a situation where killing people really solved anything.

[The thought of it makes her skin crawl.]

[Jane reaches a hand out. Want to take it so you can shake on how much bullshit this is?]
no subject
She takes Jane's hand in a firm grip. Let's shake it out.</small]
