[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

Specs can bake? Huh. Didn't know that. I've been mostly cooking for myself since getting here. [She'd say friends, but...] Whatever you want to refer to people as, that's what you use. I don't use the F word unless someone else does it first. Less heartbreak that way.

Last V-day, I was stuck with the guys in the base, and my girlfriend wasn't exactly around for me to celebrate.

...Though I guess she was still my ex at the time, by then. And also, she doesn't like girly things, so. She probably woulda mocked me anyway, and then pretended like she wasn't going to eat some chocolate.

That's rough. The last girl I gave chocolate too was my best friend Mira. She of course responded in kind. Wow... it's been years since I've given anyone anything.
