[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

It's not a major holiday or anything, but considering what we're going through right now, I-I thought... maybe it would be nice to share...

[He can't possibly understand what such a small gesture means-- how happy she is that even one person sees something in the effort she's made.]

I-I'm not the type of person that people can rally behind-- I-I'm not a leader a-and I don't know anything about space... m-my fighting skills are m-mediocre at best... b-but if I can help the rest of you out just a little... then I'll be happy.

R-right. If we can keep anyone from doing anything crazy just a little bit longer, we may be able to get more information from the person that sent messages to us. In the meantime... i-it's a good excuse to celebrate what bonds we've formed, no matter how small.

He's... [Ah. Describing it now is a little more difficult, but--] He's someone very special to me. After all... I've had p-plenty of guys act nice to me to my face when th-they really couldn't care less. But he was the first person who was openly honest with me. H-he knew what kind of person I was.

B-but that's why it was okay. No matter what he said-- it was true. And I knew that.

And... it made me w-want to become someone useful to him. Someone worthy of his praise and affection. Despite growing up in a family like his-- being judged and pressured and compared to others-- he became really strong, and is someone people really look up to. I... admire that.

O-of course. He's my classmate, I would know. He's... I know he can be... d-difficult. B-but he's a member of the Future Foundation. He really... does a lot of good.

In reality, p-people are inclined to gravitate towards the people they believe they deserve.
