[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

I wish I had your confidence. But with how much this feels like a twisted psych experiment, I'm sure they're ready to throw everything they can at us to wear us down.

Of course they are. That just means we should be ready, too.

Do you have practical suggestions for how we can stop anything from happening? I mean, we should keep all watch out for each other during the nights, but there's no place we're allowed to sleep that can accommodate all of us.

That's true enough, but we're all fairly close to one another. I'm already keeping track of the locations of supplies, and I'm not the only one, either.

What about anything that could be used as a weapon? Though some of us are weapons....

[Quite a few of them are seasoned warriors who could probably kill bare-handed, after all.]

All kinds of things could be weapons, so there's no way we could just say these are but those aren't. Or restrict access. On the other hand, you sound like you're advocating just not trying.

No, I'm not saying that. I think we should try to do whatever we can to remove temptation for an easy kill. The harder it is, the more likely that nobody will try anything crazy.

Doesn't that make it more important to cut this off at the motives themselves?

If Togami's warning doesn't deter people, that won't be too feasible. People can pretend like they don't care about a motive, but that doesn't mean they won't act on it when no one's looking. Or if we have wildcards here who don't care about motives, but will kill for their own whims.

Maybe. Even so, and even if you're right, there's no reason to just give up.

I know... I know we can't give up. I'm trying to stay positive about all this, but it's not easy.
