Week 2

[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

Enjoy your week, Champions.]

(( Also, don't forget to submit your AC and item rolls! You can also bother your Overseer here. ))

[Togami wants to point out one of them may have imagined it and influenced the other in believing it happened -- both had just woken up, after all. It's plausible. Buuuuut he can't just dismiss this as a mere dream]

I see no reason for Xander or for his bosses to do something like that...

[This is puzzling, yep]

I think it might have to do with that first meeting. We've all figured out that we're probably missing a lot of our memories. Given that, they likely want to taunt us with whatever we might have forgotten.

And for that they'd taunt only one person? Unless they think Pyrrha is a significant threat to them, I don't see why she'd be the only target.

[Unless other people got similar experiences here and he simply doesn't know]

That's what I'm wondering about. No one else has reported it happening to them, but I want people to be on the lookout anyway.

...I'll inform you if I notice anything similar to that. [Still, it's strange...] Did she describe how what she saw looked like? Besides 'glowing figure'
ratherdoweddings: (like with the power of love)

I saw it too, but it was pretty vague. Though I guess we were both tired.

...saying you were tired is not the kind of thing you should mention when you describe a strange happening.

[Just saying. His concern Pyrrha and Yurika may have not really seen anything increased a bit]

Regardless of that, if it was part of our missing memories, then that's a good sign. Speaking from experience I can tell you it'd usually take a lot of trauma to the head to undo missing memories.

This could mean whatever procedure the masterminds here used was a rather mediocre one. Who knows...we may see more glimpses of our missing memories.

ratherdoweddings: (i see my present partner)

[personal profile] ratherdoweddings 2018-02-13 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
All right. I'll keep an eye out just in case someone else sees anything. ...Head trauma actually works, like on TV?

[personal profile] imnotfat 2018-02-13 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
If you include the fact you'd need enough head trauma you're on the brink of death and barely conscious, then yes, it'd be exactly like on TV.

ratherdoweddings: (and humans shouldn't)

[personal profile] ratherdoweddings 2018-02-13 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
And this was something you tested?

[personal profile] imnotfat 2018-02-13 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
Absolutely not!

[Geez, who do you think he is, an attempted murderer?]

It was a side-effect from a murder I witnessed in a past game. We had our memories stolen back then too, and the victim remembered we all had met before. Then he died.
ratherdoweddings: (i know this can't continue)

[personal profile] ratherdoweddings 2018-02-13 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
That's right, you were in something like this before, weren't you? And that was the only way anyone got anything back?

Usually it's done through specialized machines. Other than that, it'd be better not to try to force our brains to remember anything. Memories aren't gone, they're simply...blocked.
ratherdoweddings: (reasons to justify each move)

And trying to mess with that can make it worse, huh...
