[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

Despite the dangers of our situation, I find I'm doing quite well. I would even say I was comfortable.

It has been surprisingly easy to keep busy.

[Relatedly, she picks this moment to finally get to work on what she came for, taking a knife to a flat slab of chocolate.]

Speaking of Sir Xander, it seems his awareness of our circumstances is less complete than we believed.

Yeah, I got that impression, too. Seems like a pretty huge oversight.

...perhaps his superiors lack confidence in him, and believe that he would not fulfill his duties as expected if he was fully informed.

... Considering our new robot sentries, I'd guess it's pretty obvious they don't have much confidence in him.

Then... the question becomes why, and what is still being concealed from him now.

[Another question might be "what's with Arianna's sudden shift in mood?"]

Yeah... but I really doubt we're gonna find out.

I am fine. I was merely reminded of an unpleasant experience I once had.

...at any rate, I suspect our success will require finding out what secrets are being held here.

Yeah, I agree with you. Place like this, there are probably a ton of secrets lurking around.

We just have to figure out how to uncover them.
