[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

Do you think perhaps it was just a bluff? Maybe Xander wanted us to think there would be guards.

He made it sound like they were almost... disappointed in him.

I'd be disappointed in him if I made him take this job to make people kill each other. Robots still seem a little extreme, though...

[She lets out a quiet laugh at the snort.] That's good. Everyone should have their own way of fighting I think. It can be very surprising to the enemy.

[Fighting in packs is also a good idea, so...] But... I would still try to protect you. And everyone else, of course.

She chews on her lip before shaking her head.] I'm fine with not being protected. I'm used to fending for myself, so it would be better if you protected the others over me. Okay?

Well, unfortunately I've learned that it's sometimes better to fight as a team with others supporting you. Just, something to keep in mind.

[And then she ran off on her own and did something bad.]

I'd still like to see how you fight sometime. A-as a friendly spar, of course.

There's no better time then. Getting back into practice would help if we try to break out again.

Hmm. [She uh, stares at the skirt for a few seconds.] Not necessarily, but it's probably a good idea. I can't imagine this place having any combat skirts.

[She's trying to keep her voice low but she's honestly kind of excited at the idea.]

Maybe the food court? if everything could be moved out of the way...

Combat skirts........... no, but they do have petticoats. But then everything would be super poofy.

[Like she'd complain about that. In the future she just needs to figure out how to weigh her skirt down or stiffen it to fight with? Wait. Nari has fought in a dress before. It's fine. It's all fine.]

Oh! That would be a good place. And if we do it when everyone's busy, no one can interrupt.

That sounds great to me. There will be less chance of any accidents if it's just us.

[And less chance of Xander coming down to press his sword on anyone. Which Pyrrha's kind of been thinking/worrying about for a few days now.]

Yes. Accidents must be avoided. I mean, we can hurt each other, but the others? Yeah, no, let's not. I don't have the equipment for that here.

Huh. That's pretty cool. [Oh boy] Greek is a culture back where I'm from. Pyrrha Nikos even sounds Greek. Honestly, Pyrrha sounds like it has roots in the word pyro, which means fire.

Really? [Oh. Huh.] Well, it does have a similar sort of meaning in the language on Remnant. What a coincidence.

I've never been much for fire though. I'd say I'm more in-tune with polarity?

[Wait wait wait!] Now I know where I have heard your name! Pyrrha in Greek mythology is the daughter of Pandora. She was named that for her hair being red. Maybe that's what your name is based off of?

But, uh, yes. My Semblance is the ability to manipulate the polarity of certain metals. [Ah... she laughs a bit.] Which is to say, I have magnet powers.

Semblance... That's a weird thing to name abilities. Magnet powers are cool, though. You'd never drop your fork!
