[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

Chocobos are pretty much the cutest animal ever, aside from cats.

It's in just a few days! It's a holiday where girls give their friends and coworkers chocolate, usually the guys, but the person they love? That person gets chocolate they made themselves. It's really romantic, if not for the fact that we all got kidnapped here instead!

Only the most amazing true love ever! My Akito loves me for sure, even though he's always getting embarrassed and running away. Well, almost always now? It's a little embarrassing, but romance is the most important thing in life, don't you think so?

[ Oh. That's actually pretty sweet. Noctis rubs his neck a little. ]

It's important, yeah, I guess.

I know! There's no room for guessing. You see, even when we were kids and he was freaking out about girl cooties, I knew it was destiny! Don't you have any stories like that? ♥

About... girl cooties? Not... really. Didn't hang out with too many girls when I was little.

About romance! Or friends you've had forever! Anything like that, where you just know how the rest of your life is going to be!

Well, uh. My best friends are... Prompto, Ignis, and Gladio. Prompto's really into photography and running, and he's so energetic it sometimes makes me tired. He really loves chocobos, too. He thinks they're the best animals ever.

Ignis is the serious one of the group. [ ... mmmmm sure is painful! ] We've known each other for about forever. He's good at cooking and baking, and strategizing. He keeps us all in line, and he's the one who usually drives the car. Ignis is... well. He knows how to have fun, but he's a lot more restrained than the rest of us.

Gladio's a really big guy, and we've tried to get him to put on a shirt, but he's a showoff. Wields the biggest sword you've probably ever seen. He's really focused on his duties, like a soldier. He can be aggressive and blunt, but at the end of the day, I know he's got my back.

[ He hesitates for a moment. ]

And then there's Luna. [ And his voice softens. ] We were... apart for a long time, but we knew each other since we were kids. She was... bright, and honest, and good. A light in the darkness, pretty much. She traveled around Eos--our home--and healed those who were touched by sickness. When she spoke, everyone stopped and listened to her. She looked... frail, I guess, but she was one of the strongest and best people I've ever known.

Everyone really loved her.

Wow... You really care about them, don't you? You understand the bonds between people! It's moving just hearing you talk about them! And then someone like you gets stolen away from the people who love you? That's terrible!

[nightcure]

[ Man haha it's a good thing they're not expecting him back! ]

Yeah. They're the reason I'm the person I am. [ He rubs at the back of his neck. ] I didn't think it was that moving.

No, really, it is! I can't believe these people would just kidnap people who have lives and loved ones. Urgh, it makes me so mad! And at this time of year, can you believe that?

... Hah, well, I'm still looking for a way out every time I can. We've gotta get you back to your Akito, too.

Of course! If we can find whatever they used to send us here, that'll be easy. Though -- you might want to let me do it first, just in case. The only thing I know that takes people through space-time can be kind of dangerous in the wrong hands.

Yeah? So you know space pretty well, huh?

Well, I am a starship captain! My dad's an admiral, too, so I grew up moving around space. I lived on Mars for the longest time, back when there were still colonies there.
