[It's been about a week since the Champions woke up in their new consumerist hellscape of a temporary home and, despite a few odd goings on and the bomb incident with Church and Nari, things haven't been as bad as they could be. No one is even dead yet! But let's see how long that lasts.

[Ardyn opened the envelope, read the note inside...then looked to Xander with a cold smirk.]

Oh, they’re desperate for blood, aren’t they? Losing your nerve yet, my dear Overseer?

[Togami doesn't even look at his. He knows very well what it says, and given that most of the Togamis except him are dead and/or mere plebeians now, it's not important]

Don't expect everyone to behave the same than you do. Simply because your secret is unimportant, it doesn't mean other people's are unimportant as well.

You should also keep in mind you don't know what your home is like right now, especially since we got some of our memories taken away. What may look like a very dark secret right now may not even matter anymore back at home.

[ She thought that no motive could get to her. But when those words spill out, when she hears them and they register, what little color there is to Clarith's face drains. Riliane. Her deepest and most feared secret is Riliane. Telling the world... Telling anyone besides Germaine and Yukina she's alive. The poor girl would be dragged from the monastery. She'd be murdered in a public display, just when she's gotten her life sorted and back together.

[The Doctor's face is carefully blank as he takes the envelope. He looks over the beautifully written name, before folding his arms and not bothering to open it. There's no point, there's only one thing it could possibly be.]

Everyone back home, eh? Good trick, considering I don't have one.

[Fukawa finds Clarith first and sits with her, wrapping a shaking arm around her.]

Given yesterday's warning I had imagined it'd be worse than this. Looks like all killing game masterminds are cut from the same cloth.

[ Thomasin stares at the envelope in her hands, not realizing how hard they're shaking, before she looks back up at Xander with terror. ]

You lie.

[ He obviously doesn't! The tone of her voice suggests she knows it. ]

[ He takes his... and opens it. For a while, he's quiet. ]

If this is the worst you've got to throw at me, fine. That isn't enough to get me to kill anyone.

[ He leaves for a moment and comes back. And there, right on the wall, Noctis posts his secret:

Noctis Lucis Caelum could not protect anyone close to him. Not his father, not Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, not Ignis Scientia or Prompto Argentum... or the people of Eos from the endless night. ]

[Arianna retrieves her letter from her envelope and almost immediately drops it. Apparently, she does.]

[Jane just. Stares. She stares at Xander, then at the closed envelope in her hands. She considers it for a long, hard moment...and then looks Xander in the eye and tears the envelope and its contents in two.]

Then you'd know fully well that shouting my secrets into the void at home isn't going to do anything.

[Jane Crocker killed two teenage boys in cold blood and was justly murdered in her sleep.

It isn't something she'd want to get around in the mall. But at home? It doesn't matter. And it's better to not worry about what is specifically hanging over her head. She tears the pieces again, and then crumples them, and drops them one by one onto the floor.

[He nudges Noct's shoulder with his own.] Sounds pretty heavy, man.

[Pyrrha picks hers up with a tired resignation, unsure of how to feel about whatever her "greatest secret" would be.

As soon as she opens her envelope, Pyrrha lets out a harsh gasp and quickly stuffs the letter back inside. Was it loud? A little. Whoops.]
