[After the reveal of their handsome and well-dressed but stern-looking Overseer on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the mall to their hearts' content. At around 10 pm every night the lights in all the shops will go down and the sturdy metal grates over the doors of the restaurants will go down. The stores will remain unlocked, though.

On Monday morning, a buzzing alarm chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing Xander will be holding office hours

Oh, I know. But the steam fogs up lenses and the running water makes it harder to pick up voices, so it's more annoying. I work with hidden mics and cameras all the time, the kitchen's a much better choice as far as bugging a place goes. People talk in the kitchen all the time, there's usually a phone in there.

Okay then, Dirk Gently, but I would disagree with the kitchen, especially if there's no women living in the house. Men are more likely to congregate in a living room, and looking at current living situations, most people would actually have their phones in there or they have cellphones. How would you account for that?

Well, if I can't tap their cell phones directly, then actually the easiest way is to give the person I'm spying on a present I know they'll like and use. Then they can put their buggy new friend in the room they spend the most time in for me, you know? It eliminates a lot of fuss from the get-go.

Either way, showers? Not the best place to get your surveillance on. We both agree on that much, right?

Don't think these feet will keep me from going after him in some way again. I just need to figure out a way to get stronger.
