[After the reveal of their handsome and well-dressed but stern-looking Overseer on Sunday, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the mall to their hearts' content. At around 10 pm every night the lights in all the shops will go down and the sturdy metal grates over the doors of the restaurants will go down. The stores will remain unlocked, though.

On Monday morning, a buzzing alarm chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot. There's also a pop-up message waiting for them: a notice announcing Xander will be holding office hours

...A woman triggered an event that drew hordes of dangerous creatures into one of the most populated cities on the planet, leading a full-scale assault and gaining unimaginable power.

[She's kind of keeping it condensed because she hates herself and talking about that.]

The creatures were drawn by the negative emotions the people had after... something awful happened.

[In a way it's kind of similar to what happened in his times -- or at least he thinks that from how she made it sound]

It could be possible what we all have in common is that we have gone through quite the rough experiences, then.

Well, that doesn't exactly help their actions then, bringing everyone in after they've been through strife.

They must be aiming to breaking us further. What they intend to prove is not something I have deduced yet, but it may be along those lines.

I'm not sure, but I've gotten the impression that Xander is doing this for certain reasons.
