Week 6

[Six weeks. Twenty-three Champions whittled down to just seven. Where the halls of the station once felt crowded and loud now they're empty and echo when someone speaks too loudly. Again, the Champions will find themselves experiencing strange dreams on Sunday night but outside of the usual wake-up call there is no new floor announcement from CECE.

Like the trash compactor last week, the infirmary is pristine and sterile once again. As if nothing had ever happened.]

[He waves at the station as a whole]

Thank you for being my friend, no matter what happens. And despite everything about me. [He clutches the pieces of the switch a little tighter.] You're better than I deserve.

[That actually blindsides him, and he puffs out a little 'oh']

[He shakes his head]

I'm not even going to START that argument before coffee. [He stands, hands in his pockets and his usual relaxed slouch, blowing his hair from his eyes]

I'm gonna go check my dumbwaiter. Let me know if you decide to burn that thing. Or, I dunno, jab Blaze in his other eye with it, yeah?

[It was a mistake, but he said it anyway. Fair enough, though.]

Think I'd rather eye for an eye Petuu, and get two for the price of...two. [One for each of them.] If I make a show of it, I'll get you. And let me know if you get something you don't want to deal with, either. It's going to start feeling awkward if you have to babysit me all the time.

[He considers telling him everything- his fears that the memory he just got, that finally made everything he knew into a coherent story, was going to be the last. That he was dead. But... it doesn't seem the time, not after all that.
