[In a tragic yet seemingly inevitable turn of fate, the Champions have lost Zombina this week. OsoKaramatsu and Korra, too, are gone, both having fallen in their attempts to help their fellow Champions out of terrible circumstances.

Again, the Champions will find themselves experiencing strange dreams on Sunday night, until they're awakened by C.E.C.E.'s announcement. This is all starting to become routine.]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your third trial, you have unlocked the fourth floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.!

[The trash compactor is completely shiny and new again. In addition, the profiles on the P.I.P.s still inticate that Karamatsu is dead. Because of course he is, right?

Caffeine addiction screams coffee, but let's, ha, let's not counteract the drugs. I haven't gotten this much seep in years. Actual sleep. Not soul stealing things or being put in magical weird games.

There's decent cuts in there. [Aaaand Max is re-reading the label on the meds. It's a little hard to parse, he's definitely gonna err on the side of not giving Kaiba caffeine anyway.] I'll see what I can get. Have some water before I go, though, you gotta stay hydrated.

[He writes something down on a piece of paper nearby - it just says FUCKING WRITE DOWN WHEN YOU GIVE THEM THE STRONG MEDS HERE - and goes over to retrieve the cup.]

It's Tuesday now. They didn't come over to give the incentive - all that shit must've put them off the idea.

I saw Dudely. Yuri might've died for nothing, but he did some great damage when he went I see. Heh, I see...

[Max saw it too close for comfort. He'd have probably felt better about it if it were on Rox? His feelings towards Dudely aren't nearly as strong, and it was such an ugly wound...]

It was Rox anyway. Maybe he left.

We were so close. She's got a new phone. Maybe they just regenerate? We were this close.

[He sits up suddenly, and then eases himself back down from the surge of lightheadedness from the move.] The arms--the computers, you can get punished through them, she doesn't have to shoot you or touch you--she didn't have to send Dudely, she could've shocked him.

She probably just bought another one - woah, woah, hey.

[He puts a hand on Kaiba's shoulder, not really to push him down but just to sort of make sure he stays there.]

The PIPs? That's... [Shit. Fuck. That's really bad. Also does that mean she sent Blaze just for shits and giggles?] ...that's good to know, thanks.

We didn't even touch her, we didn't get there, she just-- [Whether his fingers twitch in memory or as a wordless example, he doesn't indicate.]

I guess it’s not all that surprising. Seems like she’d want that level of control.

I got her, though. We did. Emotionally. Stupid, she would've let us go with a warning. [He settles down some with a very tired laugh with no humor in it.] Now we're the warning.
