[In a tragic yet seemingly inevitable turn of fate, the Champions have lost Zombina this week. OsoKaramatsu and Korra, too, are gone, both having fallen in their attempts to help their fellow Champions out of terrible circumstances.

Again, the Champions will find themselves experiencing strange dreams on Sunday night, until they're awakened by C.E.C.E.'s announcement. This is all starting to become routine.]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your third trial, you have unlocked the fourth floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.!

[The trash compactor is completely shiny and new again. In addition, the profiles on the P.I.P.s still inticate that Karamatsu is dead. Because of course he is, right?

[He laughs throatily]

Hell no, you keep 'em I look like shit in white.

[Let's just take some time to process that, and while we minimize that, let's focus on the real issue:]

White--white, you moron, my coat is white, my boots are black. [He sticks out a foot from under a blanket.] What are you, blind?

LAUGHS AKIRA

[That gets him to laugh a little as he stands.]

Flavor?

Chocolate. An' whipped cream

[Karamatsu gives a noise of confirmation before slipping out of the infirmary. He's only gone for as long as it takes for the milkshake to be prepared and given to him, and he comes right back with a glass in hand. He sits back down and holds it out near Akira so he can have the option to either take it with his good hand (if he has a good hand, considering), or just drink through the straw while Karamatsu holds it. It even has a cherry on top.]

[He manages to take it, thought he might need steadying]

[He can do that, making sure Akira is sitting up alright and there's no danger of the glass being tipped over. He can much more easily see his bandaged face, and it makes his heart ache for him.]

...you and Kaiba-san could have been killed. You know this, right?

[le_mat]

...yeah.

[Time to hide his guilt by drinking milkshake]

[karappo]

[It's okay man he gets it.]

It was reckless. ...but. I wish I had the courage to have done the same.

[He could have, when Rox approached him then. But he was too afraid.]

[le_mat]

[karappo]

[Karamatsu shakes his head a little, offering Akira a reassuring smile.]

Do not worry. I will just find time to curse at a camera or two later. It is not much, but at least I know she is watching.

[le_mat]

[He nods slowly, pleased but scared]

She didn't like being called incompetent. Go for that.

[karappo]

[If Karamatsu can be trusted for anything, it's that he won't be reckless. He's too afraid for that.

But the way Akira says that...it makes Karamatsu frown.]

...I am guessing you two set off her temper in a bad way.
