[In a tragic yet seemingly inevitable turn of fate, the Champions have lost Zombina this week. OsoKaramatsu and Korra, too, are gone, both having fallen in their attempts to help their fellow Champions out of terrible circumstances.

Again, the Champions will find themselves experiencing strange dreams on Sunday night, until they're awakened by C.E.C.E.'s announcement. This is all starting to become routine.]

Congratulations, Champions! By surviving your third trial, you have unlocked the fourth floor of the ship. A new mini map has been added to your P.I.P.!

[The trash compactor is completely shiny and new again. In addition, the profiles on the P.I.P.s still inticate that Karamatsu is dead. Because of course he is, right?

...No. [He squints, looking around, and it's...the same set up. The tables, the teleporter, the french press.] No, this isn't right. Did we hit a glitch? We crossed into an area we weren't supposed to, broke the system?

Maybe? Why else would it be mirrored like this. Parallel universe?

But the Overseers can pass through. They'd be programmed to do that, though... Unless this is just a section of a space station that's the same on both sides. But why would you do that? [video game logic]

Come on. We should press ahead. [But carefully. If this isn't a glitch, Rox should be somewhere, right?]

[The eerily familiar cafeteria goes by--nothing immediately looks amiss, which is even more eerie--and they reach the hallway. Kaiba peeks around the corners. Curved and stretching out either side. Doors spaced evenly.]

If there are they're gone or hiding. Does look set up to run another 'game' though. Goddamn it.

It has to be a powerful system to run even all of us in the game at the same time, even with a smaller space to load. Could it be they've been running multiple games at once? Get enough 'Ultimate Champions' and then have them duke it out...why?

Who knows. They did threaten it, so if they weren't just bluffing us they'd have to have a space ready to go. There's no way Blaze and Petuu need all this space. If they need to eat and sleep at all.

[He forks a thumb back at the cafeteria.]

Can you even picture them sitting together for lunch? Chatting over coffee?

I'd call it entertaining if this situation wasn't terrifying.

Assuming this isn't a glitch and they really do live here somewhere, there has to be a control room where they watch footage. There are cameras in the cafeteria; she probably knows we're coming. [He's taking the left side down the hallway. Better to be quick about it.]

[And Akira takes the other side. Odds are the transporter won't accept their PIPs, so best to try the first floor]

... not really. But after Chloe and Korra and now Yuri- I can't keep flaking out. I'm not going to do anything suicidal, but if I see an opening..

[o shit whaddup, that's a good interruption to this...whatever this is.] I think we do. We're allowed to investigate as we please. Nothing has said this side of the station was off limits but a closed door.

We're not big fans of closed doors.

You are technically correct, Champion of Denial and Champion Trickster, but my databases tell me coming into others' personal quarters uninvited is considered "rude" in many Earth cultures.

Overseer Petuu will not be pleased if she catches you.

Is this entire side of the station their quarters? Not that I've ever minded being rude. I've been worse things.

[Petuu catching them, though, that's what worries him.] CECE, while we're chatting, could you tell us where there might be a control room? [It's worth a shot, k.]

It would get us out of their area faster, then we wouldn't be rude anymore.
