third trial
[With the announcement and the evidence, the Champions are free to decide amongst themselves what order the groups leave in. Once that's done the process of teleporting is automatic and happens in the blink of an eye. Once second they're in the center of the cafeteria before a soft blue light surrounds them and then they're standing in the middle of a circle of podiums.
The room itself it the same shiny, chrome-covered atrocity as most of the rest of the ship save for the sections of floor that aren't the teleporter: those are thick clear glass that show nothing but empty space and stars beneath the Champions' feet. As for the podiums they're the same sort of garish chrome with a digital screen facing toward the center of the circle. More portraits and names in blaring red have been added this week. Slaine Troyard, the Champion of War and Zombina, the Champion Rotten Girl.
The Overseers are waiting when they all arrive, standing on a floating platform just high enough to be out of reach and back far enough toward a far wall to have a full view of the courtroom. Both are dressed well, Rox in a pressed grey dress jacket and skirt and Blaze in a black suit with the sleeves rolled up to expose his numerous tattoos. Rox is smiling like that cat who ate the canary while Blaze is standing a little farther away than normal and looking uncomfortable.]
Welcome back, Champions! There are fourteen of you here but, if things go correctly, only thirteen of you will leave. I don't think I have to explain at this point what will happen if you choose wrong.
As usual there's no time limit but be sure to keep things interesting. [She folds her arms across her chest, looking down on the Champions with a grin.] Let the trial begin.

A blast of air goes at Rox, destabilizing her, followed quickly by the podium, smashing between the two of them.
Korra moves quick-- and she can tell there is metal in Rox's phone. Which makes it the next thing she grabs, and reshapes into a spike.
She's looking to kill, all it would take is one move, but she freezes.
She's looking past Rox.]

But then Korra stops, and Rox moves. She lunges forward and shoves Korra as hard as she can, sending her stumbling backward toward the edge of the platform.]

But that doesn't mean she isn't going to jump back to her feet and try, try again.
She's still got rocket feet, after all.]
HEY, ROX, COME DOWN AND FIGHT ME!

Rox grins, sharp and sharklike, from behind the safety of the glass as the floor begins to open.]

Korra pulls the air with her airbending as much as possible to kick herself back up-- it only sort of works.
She's not used to space, after all.
But she is ready to fuck some shit up to fight as long as possible.
The metal on the floor might be damaged quite a bit.]

CW: Space death
The air in her lungs expands, and she seizes, mouth opening in a scream but nothing but a spray of blood rushes out, and her eyes glaze over as she hangs slack out in the void of space. Her skin blackens and bleeds from radiation burns, and her body swells as the fluid inside her expands, but she's long dead by the time that that would kill her.
End CW
The floor closes. The bubbles open. But the glass over the Overseers' podium remains down, and they disappear as soon as their door opens, visibly shaken. It's CECE who directs them.]
Please proceed in an orderly fashion to the teleporter and return upstairs.

Osomatsu leaves, scrubbing at his eyes with his fists and shouldering past anyone who gets in his way. He might just straight up shove you if you don't move fast enough. Then, he's gone.
He'll be in Room 23 if you need him, but don't try to need him. He will not open up for anyone.]
