[Well, it's probably a good sign that each Champion still awakes in their own bed, and not in a completely random dimension. Or a bad sign, depending on how you look at it.

Still, there doesn't seem to be much amiss on the main floor of the space station... Except for a kind of cloying smell that very faintly lingers in the air around the teleporter.

(There is no body in the cafeteria, but it is a surprise place that will help us out later.)

[The stench is nauseating, but Max takes Akira's arm in his anyway, steering him back to the kitchen. It's the closest sink, and he doesn't really have it in him to try to shove the kid into the shower.]

Here, let's wash you up a little. [Are you gonna do it yourself or are you just totally in shock right now]

[His movements are a little sluggish, but he's managing to wash his hands. That tussle with Yuri knocked a lot of the fog from his head. He kinda misses it]

I gotta burn these clothes.

[They could get shoved into the trial room any old time. He’ll decide what to do with the clothes when he gets them.]

[It doesn't take long for Akira to grab spare clothes from his room and duck into the showers.]

Toss em in the... the compactor. They'll toss it with everything else.

[UH. WELL? He’s not actually gonna approach the compactor itself, but he’ll pitch then into the room in general and be hanging around waiting for Akira when he’s done.]

You, uh, want some of this lotion I got? Smells pretty good.

[akira looks more alive when he comes out. Thank rng Jesus for clothes, as he has the jeans and hoodie he got on Sunday on. His hair is pushed back from his face, not straight cuz that's just not in his genes, but lacking it's normal fluff till it dries. Glasses missing. They'd just fog on his still overheated skin
