The Third Investigation

[Well, it's probably a good sign that each Champion still awakes in their own bed, and not in a completely random dimension. Or a bad sign, depending on how you look at it.

Still, there doesn't seem to be much amiss on the main floor of the space station... Except for a kind of cloying smell that very faintly lingers in the air around the teleporter.

(There is no body in the cafeteria, but it is a surprise place that will help us out later.)

[Upon opening the door, you are hit with.

The worst fucking smell. It smells a body farm in here, for serious. There's red fluid splattered up the walls of the compactor and sprayed liberally all over the floor, like someone popped an enormous zit that happened to be filled with hair and bone matter and... uh.

Do those look like bandages around the fluid-drenched Champion Unitard?]

[He's a perceptive guy. He knows already who this is. The smell of rot, the bandages. So before even saying anything he closes the door behind him.

Yuri can't see this. He'll take it alone.

He steps closer, kneeling next to the unitard.]

[ Yeah no, curiosity killed the cat, so she's coming with. She has an idea, too, so that's why she holds her comment about this being the rankest thing she's smelled since she was stuck in the Myouren Temple graveyard and pulls her sweater over her nose. ]

[It's really hard to tell just because everything is soaked in fluid that looks like blood but also not quite.

But there's bits of skull and rotting brain and scalp and really, who else is full of blood-not-blood? Who else could it be?
