[It has now officially been one full week since the first two murders on the station. As the Champions wake up this morning, they'll be pleased to note that nothing is immediately amiss as they leave their rooms. No banging sounds, no blood in the hall.

Still, it might not hurt to look around a little.]

[Ah........... Someone botched something, huh. Manaka will just go ahead and touch around the area, to see if anything else becomes apparant by touch.]

[Considering that Manaka is Manaka, I trust that she can recognize the general feeling of cervical fractures.]

[You would be shocked by how much Manaka knows about dead bodies! Or maybe you wouldn't be. Either way, that sure does feel like a broken neck.

So... Luna's neck was broken, but that isn't what killed her. She'll return to that in a second, but first, let's check out the injuries on her arm.]

[The arm injuries appear to be part of a series of contusions along the right side of her body. There's not necessarily a ton of them, but they seem to be centered more on the bonier parts - her elbow, her shoulder, probably her hip.]

[Well, at least that's consistent with a source of head trauma. If possible, she'll pull Luna's clothes aside enough to check the hip injury, just to be sure.

Assuming that the hip maybe-bruise isn't anything notable, though, Manaka is just...going to straigh-up roll Luna's body over now. She wants to check the back of her neck, to see if there's any bruising or blood there that might tell her if the neck break happened before or after her death.]

[There isn't much going on one the back of her neck, but she sure has a lot of blood matted in her hair on the upper right side of her head back here.]

[Great! And it sure is on the same side of her body as the rest of the bruising, too.

Alright, so... Manaka rolls Luna back over, trying to arrange her in roughly the same position she had started in. She remembers that, this week too, it looks like the body had been posed after its death... And Kaiba has already noted that the blood pool is a short distance away from where the body itself had ended up. Anything else to take note of here? And blood smears, defensive injuries, suspicious footprints...?]

[You've noted the last thing I wanted to call out already - she was laid out on her back, hands folded neatly on her chest, and her eyes closed. Put her back that way. Maybe it'll be easier.]

[At some point Penny's gonna show up here after the actual investigating is mostly done, because Luna was her friend and we need to make Silas sad too. So here's Penny, presumably having left Max somewhere corpse-free if he followed her out of the pool. She's just gonna go and stand quietly by the body like she's not sure what exactly to do.]

Miss Luna- Manaka, did you find anything?

[Seriously, who the fuck would do this to Luna of all people.]

[Haha. Hahahaha. If Penny wanted someone to break the news to her gently, she came to the wrong person.]

She was badly beaten, but... It also looks like someone tried to strangle her first. There are ligature marks all around her throat, and her neck is broken, too.

Luna never hurt anyone and someone wanted her dead that badly?

I don't know that it was intentionally malicious. Whoever did this might have just realized that their original plan wasn't working, and switched to some alternative.

...Hey, Penny-chan. Do you know if anyone found a cord, or anything like that? It looks like whoever tried to strangle Lunafreya used some tool instead of their hands, so...

Prompto- there was a knife, at the pool. Yuri has it. But no cords or anything.

Then there's a knife, but nothing to strangle a person with, and nothing to bludgeon a person with... I see.

[Sorry, Penny, but she seems to be thinking to herself more than anything now.]
