[It's your first week here, and you've been offered a fantastic prize for killing someone: an all-expense paid vacation! It's a pretty standard prize as far as reality game shows go.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), this isn't exactly a game show.

It seems that no one has died this weekend, and the deadline for the prize is now expired. There's no announcement from the Overseers to that effect; in fact, none of you have seen either of them since Tuesday. Maybe they'll make a reappearance soon, but for now, it seems that you've got a moment of peace.

[She does wait around to see if he comes out, and his note appears just as she's about to leave him be - if he wants to be alone, that's okay - but huh, a response! She reads it carefully before writing an addition underneath and pushing it back under the door.]

So it was like a performance.
I'm sorry it went poorly. Perhaps it was the story itself? I don't know how funny something like that actually is.

Why is it a Delivery Skit? Is the skit what you are delivering?

[Looks like they're doing this, then. Not that Karamatsu minds. He was starting to get a bit lonely anyway.

The note pops back out a few minutes later.]

Essentially, yes. I suppose we could have done a skit that we have already done at home...but usually we try to come up with new things. This was a bit impromptu, so there was no way for us to know how it was going to go until we did it. That adds charm to them, usually.

So you did not know that the story would end with a pretend stabbing until you were in the heat of the moment?

Precisely. It was meant to be pretend. He would have pretended to be stabbed and fall by my hand...and then the skit would have ended.

I'm sorry it did not end as you two intended.
If you usually do this sort of thing at home, why did it not pan out correctly here?
I know it was just an accident, but...if you are both used to such stunts...it just seems strange to me.

I...do not know, to be honest. Even if this happened back home I do not think it would have turned out...quite so bad? I am not sure how to describe it, things are just...very different, comparatively.

Then perhaps we should get you two home first before you put on another one.
I'm sure it will turn out much better! And I would like to see when the skits do not end badly.

I think you are probably right, Lucina-san.
I appreciate your encouragement, though. They do usually go over a bit better, though it is not very often we have such a large audience of people to do them for.

[Sometimes they do them with no one else around at all.]
