Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

Yeah! I took French in high school - I was pretty okay with it back then, but yeah, I was never really fluent. And - oh, huh.

[He thinks for a second, and then says haltingly.]

... does that mean if it's not picked up by the translators, it won't be picked up by the people in charge of this place either? [Secret code??]

Pfffft, nah, that was just a super old language no one really speaks anymore.

[A definitely real language that isn't Sindarin.]

But, yeah, I guess if we came up with something like that, they wouldn't get it. How would they?

[There is a PLAN forming in her mind.]

So they'd have no idea what we were saying or writing, and we'd be able to share ideas and information without being found out. Keep them as in the dark about what we're doing as they we are about them.

We'd just have to share the code in the bathrooms to make sure they couldn't figure it out too. Not...you know, write any translations down where they could see.

[Yeeeeeah, he's feeling this plan!]

Well... we might have to write down a key, but there are ways we could keep it away from the cameras. We could even pass it around so one person isn't in charge of keeping the key...

Yeah, it's a good idea! Help us do some stuff that's not just retreating into the showers every time we wanna have a private conversation.

I would say it'd be more subtle, but probably not.

But until we know if we're being sound monitored in the showers, I don't see any other way. Aside from writing notes to show in the bathroom but then getting rid of that paper evidence is another problem.

... It'd feel good though, to know we could plot against them right under their noses.

Yeah, though. It'd be great for morale if we could feel like we had a little something. Investigating this place for hidden ways out isn't doing a lot.
