Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

That's a wonderful idea. Everyone's been left to themselves for a few days, tempers might start getting bad. Some of the kids seem discouraged.

Not surprised. I get wanting to try to find a way out, but I doubt it’s gonna be as easy as tripping over it two days in. We’re probably in for the long haul.

...we probably are. I think it's going to escalate if nothing happens, and if we can stay calm...

Yeah. We just gotta chill out. I figure once we all get to know each other, stuff'll be less likely to get bad.

Space? Nah, man, I'm not an astronaut.

[he turns his head away, a laugh like of course he didn't say that right]

I didn't mean the place. It's more- have you ever been isolated? They say small groups can get funny after a while...

No? Not really, no. I guess I'm sort of...

[He hums thoughtfully.]

I always spoke better English than a lot of the people I grew up with, you know? Pretty much grew up in America, so it wasn't a big thing for me like for some kids. I'm used to helping people handle stuff.
