Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

Haha, I hope so! Or Noct's in for a world of embarrassment.

[He leans in, lowering his voice.]

He's had a crush on her since he was, like, eight.

Oh...!

[So she was actually kind of right on her "important person" hunch]

Ah, I won't say anything about it to her, or...to him, if we all get out of here together, and he's there. Somehow. If...that's possible.

[Super right. The rightest.]

Aw, but I wanna know if she likes him back! Can't we ask her a little bit?

I think...something like that is a bit private, but, if it's something she doesn't mind sharing, then it's alright...but if it's her own feelings, she may want to keep them to herself.

What if I didn't ask her directly? I'm sure there's a way to be, like, sneaky about it.

Perhaps...but it would be prudent to either not ask at all or be incredibly careful about how you ask.

I could ask her what her type of guy is, or where she sees herself in ten years, or--oooooh.

[He goes very quiet and thoughtful, fingertips against his mouth, eyes bright with an idea.]

We could all play Truth or Dare or something. Then I won't even have to ask. That stuff always comes up during Truth or Dare.

Truth or Dare...that's a game, right? Then, if she played, she would have to say it, or...be made to do a dare. That is how it goes, isn't it? It's been a long time.

Sort of. For example, if we were playing, you'd ask me, "Truth or Dare?" And then I have a choice which one to pick. If I pick truth, then you get to ask me a question and I have to answer honestly. If I pick dare, then you get to dare me to do something. And if I back out on either the truth or the dare, then I have to endure some punishment we all agree on at the beginning of the game.

Then, once I answer the question or do the dare or fail, it's my turn to ask, "Truth or Dare?" to someone else. And so on and so forth.

Ah, right. Like I said, it's...been some time since I played something like that. But, it does sound like it would be an interesting way to get to know one another.

Right? ...And maybe, for the people who don't want to do any of this icebreaker stuff, we can frame it as a way of letting one another know what we're capable of when it comes to an escape attempt.
