Week 1

[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.

On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.

Your enthusiasm is [exhausting] at least helpful in this scenario. I doubt there are any here if I haven't found them yet; I find them hard to miss. A brown back with a black void shape in the middle, and colorful monster, trap, and monster cards usually backed by gold, purple, or teal respectively.

Naoki made a suggestion that I might spend time recreating cards here in the art room. At the very least, if the search turns up nothing, I could teach people the most basic rules with base examples.

Oh yeah that might be an good idea! Maybe Max-kun could help with that. He paints and stuff, so If we want some nice lookin' ones, then we could probably ask him ta whips some fancy pictures up!

He wouldn't be able to truly capture the feel of them. I could certainly describe a Blue-Eyes White Dragon to him, in detail, even sketch one out for him, but it wouldn't be the same.

I also doubt he'd do me any particular favors.

Money, thankfully, is no issue for me. [We don't talk about the 4th card.]

It's no easy task, but it does afford a comfortable lifestyle.

Guess that makes it worth it, huh? So what does KaibaCorp do anyway?

Produce games and gaming periphery. I focus a lot of money and energy particularly at holographic technology, realistic projections and simulations, turning games into something as close to reality as possible. But some of my tech is worth millions for uses in other industries as well.

Also: amusement parks. I'm soon to open one in America; I already have one in Japan.

Whooooah. Damn, now I'm startin' ta feel kinda inadequate here! Geez, ya accomplished all that and your're like sixteen!

[Her tone of voice is joking, but she does sound pretty impressed. Geez, he must be some kinda super genius.]

Also, that is probably one of the best uses of money I can think of!

I mean, If I made as much as ya did, I'd probably just spend it all customizing my guns and then buying more!

There's plenty I do for myself. [A custom 2-person jet based off his signature monster. Spared no expense.] But my goal has always been to open a string of Kaiba Land theme parks across the globe for families and children. I just happen to be able to do so much more than that.

That's a damn admirable goal. It'll bring a lotta fun and happiness to a lotta people, I'm sure.

[Zombina is convinced that Kaiba is an nice guy under all that grump, and this only strengthens that idea.]
