week one
[After the initial introduction of the Overseers, the Champions were left to their own devices in investigating the part of the ship they have access to to their hearts' content. However, the doors that Blaze Dudely and Rox came through are locked tight and cannot be unlocked via PIP.
On Wednesday morning, the same voice that awakened them the previous morning chirps at them again from their PIPs at 7 am on the dot.
Enjoy your week, Champions.]

Is it cheating if I make my character a witch, too? Or a sorceress, or whatever it's called.

[He flips through the classes, patting the seat at the table next to him.]
There's technically six spellcaster classes. There's the Wizard, who gets her power from studying, the Warlock who gets her power from a pact with a demon, the Sorcerer, who gets her power from her bloodline, the Druid, who gets her power from nature, the Cleric, who gets her power from a patron deity, and the Bard, who gets her power from music.

I guess I'd be a Wizard in real life, so maybe one'a the others just to shake things up, ze. What's the deal with the Sorcerer?

So you pick a source for your magic - it can be anything from a draconic bloodline, to a curse that was placed on you or your ancestors, or some event that scarred you but left you with powers. It's up to you where your powers come from and how you feel about them.

[ give her a second she wants to read this lore ]
That sounds interestin', ze. I'll go with a curse. She messed with too many forest spirits and they got pissed, maybe?
